iPad Tips and Tricks
The iPhone tips were a huge success so naturally I was asked to follow up with some iPad tips.  Here we go:

  • Battery percentage icon can be removed form your screen.  Go to Settings – General – Usage and it can be turned off or on from there.
  • Password protect all your data.  Go to Settings – General – Passcode Lock – Erase Data, in the event someone steals your iPad and enters the incorrect password 10 times, all data on the iPad will be deleted.
  • Fed up with all those messages to join in a Wi-Fi network?  Go to Settings – Wi-Fi and disable the “Ask to Join Networks” setting.
  • What apps do you have running on your iPad?  By double clicking the HOME button, you can see all apps running; go from one app to another by tapping on it in the bar at the bottom of your screen.
  • If you are an organizer of apps, your iPad will now allow folders to be created and named.  Tap and hold an app until it begins to move, now drag it to another icon then release.  iPad will create the folder and you can name it accordingly.
  • Tired of those annoying apps popping up?  Go to Settings – Notifications and you can determine which apps alerts will pop up.
