If you’re not familiar with the Creators Update, it is essentially the second major update to Windows 10, and its main purpose is to provide new, helpful features to users. Some of the programs affected by this update include improvements to the OS’s security, management, and privacy tools in addition to positive tweaks to Cortana and the Edge Browser. This update also introduces a new 3D paint app.

Almost every home and business user of Windows 10 will be affected by the Creators Update, including all the major editions: Education, Mobile, Enterprise, Home, Pro, and IoT Core. For most users, the update will become available on April 11, 2017, and for those who license Windows in bulk through the Volume License Service Center, it will be available by May 1.

If you want to make sure you get the Creators Update, it will automatically be offered through your device. However, you can also get the update using Windows 10’s Update Assistant Tool.
